Tamheer (on the job training)

Tamheer Overview

The Tamheer program is a three to six months long on-the-job training program for Saudi graduates. Tamheer aims at training Saudi graduate holders at government institutions, international organizations and outstanding companies in order for them to gain experience and skills to prepare them for full time employment. During the training period, trainees will be entitled to a monthly stipend. Tamheer program is intended for graduates that have not been employed during the last six months

Click here to see 'Tamheer (On-The-Job Training)' posts. Browse through the posts and apply to the preferred ones. Your eligibility (as per the below rules) will be checked automatically. If the employer decides to extend you an offer, you will be enrolled in Tamheer, after which you will need to complete the training process on Doroob website.

 

Eligibility Criteria

In order to be eligible for the Tamheer program, you must meet all of the criteria listed below:

  • Should be a Saudi national.
  • Should have a bachelor's degree or above.
  • Should not have been employed for last six months
  • Should not be currently employed.
  • Should not have previously participated in the Tamheer program

Obligations

Trainees who enrolled in the program are required to fulfill certain "obligations" intended to signal serious training efforts. These obligations represent commitments made by all beneficiaries of Tamheer to complete key tasks and trainings detailed by the employer. Failure to comply with obligations will potentially result in the stipend not being paid out and/or termination from the program.

Programs Requirements

- Requirement for employers

  • Prepare a training outline for each training program
  • Fill in the attendance report
  • Provide a specialized trainer to supervise the training process (a trainer for each 10 trainees)
  • Provide trainees assessment at the end of the program.

 

- Requirements for Trainees

  • Complete all mandatory e-courses
  • Prove commitment of attendance during the training period
  • Sign on to Doroob website once per week to report attendance
  • Provide the employers' feedback at the end of the program
